Rosie Nixon’s Reinvention Retreats

Rosie Nixon, former editor of Hello Magazine asked me to speak at her first Reinvention Retreat at the Fairmont Windsor Park in Autumn 2024 all about how to use social media to grow your small business, alongside retail guru Holly Tucker, former CEO of notonthehighstreet, and founder of Holly and Co, the small business champion.

Rosie asked me back to host a session this March at The Corinthia Hotel in London all about how to show up as the face of your brand at her Career Reinvention Retreat alongside the brilliant confidence coach Rosie Dalling.

Top Drawer - the UK’s leading design-led retail show at Olympia, London

In 2021, I was thrilled to join a social media panel at Top Drawer for their autumn event, where we discussed the trends in social media in 2021. The event was a brilliant gathering of retailers and buyers from across the homes space.

In February 2022 they asked me back to interview the brilliant interiors bloggers and social media experts David White and Mark Russell - the team behind the social media at @loafhome and the interiors blog @forwardfeatures. Check out the TikTok that the guys made all about the event.

And for three years running (2023/2024 and 2025) I have co-hosted a talk as part of Top Drawer Retail Fest with Andie McDowell, who co-founded Reels Rockstars with me. Check out what we got up to this year here!

The Garden Press Event

In March 2023 I was asked to host a talk all about the power of Instagram Reels in the gardening space at The Garden Press Event at the Business Design Centre in Islington hosted by GIMA. It was a brilliant event attended by many of the leading brands in the gardening world and the top gardening press. You can find out all about it here.

Postcards from Midlife

My Reels Rockstars co-founder and I have built a reputation for demystifying reels through our workshops and courses and so were delighted when in May 2023 we were asked by top journalists and podcasters Lorraine Candy and Trish Halpin to host a talk at their pioneering event for women in the midlife space - Postcards from Midlife LIVE all about reels.

Held in Islington we joined hundreds of other speakers including Ruby Wax, Sadie Frost, Tim Spector and Louise Minchin at this brilliant event hosting a session on how to show up with confidence on Instagram.
